Do you know where you can travel to in Europe and legally hold a wedding for same sex couples?
Even though there are many countries within Europe that offer some form of union or even Marriage – every country with the exception of Gran Canaria (for now) have placed a residency restriction, stopping gay and lesbian couples living outside from coming over and getting married, for example, France, Switzerland, Prague, Spain to name but a few.
What does that mean for us? , a new battle heading its way direct to the EU,
If opposite sex couples can come to the UK and have a legally recognized partnership without a residency requirement – why tolerate discrimination and out right to found a family across Europe.
We request any residency restriction removed from every country in Europe to allow equality to shine and same sex couples to have an open choice.
