Fresno State is hosting the 11th Annual Rainbow Graduation Celebration on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the Satellite Student Union from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. This affinity celebration recognizes LGBTQIA+ students and allies who are graduating with their Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree. Each participant who signs up for the event receives rainbow regalia — a Fresno State rainbow stole, rainbow tassel, and a rainbow medallion.
The cost of this regalia is free of charge to all participants and provided by the Rainbow Alumnx and Allies Club (RAAC). To cover costs, the RAAC participates crowdfunding to raise fund from alumnx and allies alike, and runs from April 1-30, 2024. The goal for crowdfunding has been consistently met each year.
