The Kampout Committee would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth at the Pride Festival. We met a lot of people interested in attending this years Kampout and saw many “regulars”. It was great to see everyone. For those of you who weren’t able to attend the Parade, the Kampout Committee had a float decked out with a Tiki Bar on a real sand beach. So, the Tiki Bar and beach must give you an idea of this year’s theme for Kampout…”A Tropical Paradise in the Pines.” Anything tropical, luau, beach…or let you imagination run wild! Break out your Hawaiian shirts, tiki torches or whatever else you can think of, and join us for a great weekend.
Kampout is September 5th through the 7th at Texas Flat Campground.
The cost for the weekend is $25, which includes your kampsite, 2 beer busts, 1 full dinner, 2 breakfasts, the Progressive Kocktail Party, fun and games and fabulous prizes, and much more. The Kampout Committee reluctantly had to raise the price by $5 this year due to the Forest Service’s increase in fees for the campground. But with individual campsites in Sierra National Service campgrounds going for at least $16 a night, Kampout is still your best bargain for a great weekend.
Tickets will be available at the Red Lantern and at The Den in August. We hope to see all our old friends return and meet many more. For more information, visit www.kampoutfresno.com
