The African American HIV Prevention Capacity Building Project, funded by the California State Office Of AIDS, is seeking volunteers to participate in focus groups. The focus groups are aimed at African American MSM (men having sex with men) age 25 and older, and African American women at high risk for contracting HIV who are 21 and older.
Participants will be given a meal and a $25 American Express gift card. The purpose of the focus groups is to learn where African American high-risk women and African American MSM are accessing HIV primary and secondary services, how they are accessing the services, identify any gaps in services and whether or not their feel the services are culturally competent and appropriate.
