A state appeals court in Florida has overruled Florida’s ban on gay adoptions, and starting immediately, gay couples will be allowed to adopt children. In fact, the couple that brought the case was instantly granted the right to adopt.
Charlie Crist, the closeted, gay Governor of Florida, came out in support of the overturn, as he has come out in favor of many gay restrictions being overturned, most of which he supported in the past. It is hoped the case will move to the Florida Supreme court in order to make the law more solid.
