PFLAG: Self Defense class

Come get a two-hour introduction to powerful self-defense techniques with certified Gracie Jiu Jitsu instructors in the safety of a classroom full of LGBTQ+ folks and families. Learn to recognize, avoid, and respond to potentially dangerous situations using the skills taught in this class.

This event is open to all members of our LGBTQ+ community, including kids ages 13 and up as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. (The parent or guardian does not have to participate but must remain on site through the class.)

We understand the need for a sensitive and affirming provider for a class like this, and we have worked with Roger at Gracie Jiu Jitsu Fresno in the past. We hope you will find a welcoming and safe place to learn, and will leave class feeling more empowered and capable of protecting yourself.
