Roy Ashburn, the GOP Senator who was recently exposed as gay after he was pulled over for drunk driving after leaving a gay club, has pleaded no contest to the charges. He was sentenced to two days of jail time, three years probation, $2,000 in fines and had his license suspended for 30 days.
Ashburn came out of the closet shortly after the event and will not be seeking re-election.
