Surprise, surprise, the very same lies used in the past are being rehashed in an effort to stop the movement toward legal, same sex marriage. The group, Stand For Marriage Maine, a group fighting to strip Americans in Maine of their equal rights, released an ad filled with lies and misinformation, just as we’ve seen before. Today, the group Protect Maine Equality, a group working to maintain the equal rights of Americans in that state, countered with an on the mark, direct commercial which tells the truth.
