On April 5th members of Wesley Celebration, a gay and lesbian Christian worship group from Wesley United Methodist Church, along with friends and supporters, will be present in opposition of the message being taught at the West Coast Regional Freedom Conference being held at The Bridge Evangelical Free Church. Their event message: “freedom from homosexuality through the power of Jesus Christ,” creates self-hate, self-violence and hate crimes in the gay and lesbian community and this group will be working throughout the day Saturday to offer a different loving perspective. There will be three shifts during the day, 8-10:00 a.m. (while attendees are arriving), 12-2:00 p.m. (while attendees are on lunch break), and 4:30-7:00 p.m. (while attendees are on dinner break).
